The inspiration for the character in ‘The Mysterious Caller’ came from observing everyday people and exaggerating their quirks. I wanted to create someone relatable but also hilariously frustrating for the main character. To achieve the right voice, I used a specific voice modulation technique, lowering my pitch and adding a nasally tone. The physical acting was just as important; I used exaggerated facial expressions and gestures to emphasize the character’s annoyance.

The shoot itself was quite challenging. We had to film in a small space to simulate the cramped environment of the apartment, and the timing of the phone calls had to be precise for the comedic effect to work. Despite the challenges, the final product was well-received. In fact, the video reached over 100,000 views on social media platforms like YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook within the first day! Many viewers commented on the character’s voice and how it reminded them of someone they know.
